Statement:

I am a self-proclaimed Seattleite (but an islander at heart), who loves to capture subjects in their natural state. Photographing nature, people and everything in between, I look for the overlooked in my surroundings.As one who looks at life's events from a photojournalistic perspective, know that my goal is to capture those fleeting moments that tell a thousand words filled with joy, regret and every emotion in between.

I have a passion for social justice issues and giving voice to those whose voice hasn't been heard.

Background:

My interest in art began at a young age, and has been cultivated and influenced by my social, cultural, and socioeconomic environments. My current interests are representing culture in its various forms, micro photography, and nature. I strive to explore new ways of representing my surroundings.
