Statement:

Art is my passion! I have been drawing and painting since I was three!!!   I love what I do! Right now working on Adirondack furniture. My husband hand crafts the chairs and tables and I hand paint them. Also painting mailboxes and murals. Living in Florida all my life; my art depicts mostly beaches, sea life, animals and marine life found in Florida and the tropical lifestyle but also can customize anything, including portraits. Did I say I love what I do?!

Background:

Funny, but I actually started painting for other people when I was just five painting store windows for holidays. Have painted a couple of murals in churches and the mailboxes and adirondack furniture are selling great!! Took as many art classes in high school ,as well as helping in classes as the art teacher's aid at Tarpon Springs Senior High. I was also a member of the Art Club. My medium was pencil more than anything. Later took classes in art at Sante Fe Community College, but did not major in art. Worked a lot in charcoal and pastels at this time.Thought I wanted to go in a different direction with make up artistry. Did train other make up artist for photography make up which using my knowledge with shading and highlighting could work wonders. Just used the face as my canvas. Later after doing many other things, I have come back to my true passion: Art!  I  am now face painting at the theme parks in Orlando.
