Ms. Scalene
Title:
Ms. Scalene
Year Made:
1988
Size/Weight:
24" x 24" x 1/8"
Description:
This is a hand painted and airbrushed enamel on hard board. The original is painted over an abstract painting that I painted on the board first. In certain lights you can see a stripe or two underneath. This painting started out as a blond woman, then a few years later I re-worked it to the modern look it has now.(I have a picture of how it used to be that will be delivered to whomever buys this piece...If I can find it.) This piece has been with me for many years and displayed in my studio/gallery as 'not for sale'. I have painted other likenesses of this piece for clients who had to have it, at one point even painting it on the hood of a client's Camaro (think I may have a picture of that too, but no promises.) As mentioned above, there is an under-painting that faintly shows in diagonal light. Also there are some minor surface irregularities and minor discoloration in very minute parts. It is however washable as it is painted with enamel. This piece has great sentimental value for me and has earned me a fair amount of money both as reference for other works and as prints to which I reserve rights. Prints of this are available at: www.redbubble.com/ people/thompet1 The price shown below is for the original work.
Price:
$3,500.00
