Statement:

Taking pride in my work is more important than making a name or money. Art should never be about fame or fortune. Knowing now how precious a gift it is, its significant to share what impressions I design with the rest of the world.

Let me know your thoughts.

Background:

It all began in 6th grade. My art teacher handed me a special piece of charcoal, unlike the rest of the class. After that I invested more time with art than anything else. I took every art class in high school I could, squeezing in the required courses. In 10th grade I was granted a scholarship to attend a day-long charcoal studio class at a local art center. Everything in art always came easy to me, except watercolor. I still can't stand them to this day!

I began as a Fine Arts major in 2003, and still working on this degree presently.

Summer 2006 I worked at a sleep-over camp as a Dig. Photographer. Basically, I walked around all day at camp and took mostly group and action shots (2 or more) of the campers. I would love to do this as a profession. I had so much fun with the kids and even the editing wasn't too difficult. It was hard work, but I had fun every day.

Most of the art you'll see on this profile is from college, some from this past year. Art will doubtfully ever become my main source of income, but thats ok. I'll just find a "real" job and do what I love on the side.

Upcoming Events:

I'll have a booth at a few festivals in North Carolina, in the Wilmington area. Hopefully this summer! I'll keep this updated as the time approaches.
