Sharona’s Bio/ Artist Statement

Sharon is a painter Born in Atlanta GA,

in the spring of 1977,

She grew up watching her father, an artist, inspire her daily.
"Art is my only true outlet. I taught myself by reading the art books in my father's study.
Sharona learned about painting and the experience of techniques.".

Sharon became fascinated by the transient aesthetics of varying styles and embarked on a creative journey, delving into painting with very little classical training, she came up with all original compositions that she
continues with to this day. She is influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites and artists such as John W. Waterhouse. "I love fantasy as I escape the mundane through art. Mixing real and fantasy for me is a way of escape without truly leaving."
So from a young age, Sharona developed her own graphic technique, along with her contemporary style of painting to form her unique assemblages of dreams.

Sharon is currently living in West Palm Beach, FL and working as a Faux Finisher/Decorative Painter.
She is the mother of three wonderfully talented children who are her driving force in life. "Everything I do is for them."
