Statement:

i work with inks, pastels, pen, pencil, charcoal and conte crayon. i creat portraits of people i dont know personally. i attempt to depict the multi faceted nature of humanity, to illustrate visually the emotions under the facade we all give the world to view. these are expressionist paintings.

Background:

i worked with a professional artist jim atwood in westerville, ohio many years ago. i have always had an interest in arts. i have a BA from ohio state university in columbus, ohio. i currently attend cosmetology school; hair is a living form of art.
