MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN PEOPLES LIVES BY USING THEIR GOD GIVEN GIFTS AND TALENTS. People. Music. Comedy. Life. Love. Finding the beauty and humor in pain. I'm just a b girl next door who wants to make a difference in this world. I'm not a professional just an amateur who doesn't quit. I'm just trying to live life excited like it's my first limo ride with my head sticking out the sun roof. Or, like the first time I seen Michael Jackson do the moon walk on stage at the Grammy's. I appreciate every medium of the arts; Painting, music, poetry, dance, film, whatever it takes to express one's heart. There are no rules to expression. That is the beauty of art because it is our own experience and it can never be duplicated. As human beings we are constantly changing, growing, evolving and as we do, so does our art.

Background:

As a little girl, I didn't know I was already an artist/dreamer. It was my means of survival. Being a latch key kid, you had to learn how to be creative when your mom couldn't afford to buy you toys or put you in summer programs. I began expressing myself creatively whether it was performing to invisible audiences, painting, drawing, building something, cooking or just dressing myself up with my moms high heels and cheap makeup. My art is my survival. My life is my canvas. The colors are forever changing.
