Statement:

Hello, I'm Melani. I'm always trying to improve my style and technique. I don't like to stick to just one media. I use pencil, ink, markers, colored pencils, paint (mainly watercolor), paper collage, and sometimes I'll even throw something from nature into one of my pieces, such as flowers, grass, stones, leaves, shedded snakeskin, or butterfly wings. I'll be taking an IB art course at school next year so as to further improve my style and broaden my techniques. 

I also like a wide range of subjects, such realism, stylized, cartoon, people, portraits, animals, fashion design, jewelry design, and others. I like bright colors as well as simple black and white. 

I'm currently open to commissions, although that will more than likely change within the next school year.
