Statement:

I'm a self taught artist who loves being creative & experimenting. My favorite subject would probably be people whether celebs, friends or ficticious characters. One of my innovative techniques is what I call "online reality drawing". In "reality TV" you have that glimpse of the person/people without the "forced persona" for the theme they want you to see. With drawing, I request a video from my subjects for a nude drawing or erotic theme. This way, drawing from still frames is a way the subject doesn't even know how they'll be drawn unlike live posing or a pic which gives them a prediction. Its very candid & thus fits the title. I also do forum signatures (sigs) but feel pretty mediocre at that. I only do it as a gift/thank you to my subjects for their consistency & love for my work & so they can feel like the celebs I see them as.

Background:

I've drawn since I could hold a pencil & probably became proficient and impressive to my peers in between elementary & Jr. High school. I've won quite a few art contests including coming in 1st & 2nd place when I submitted 2 drawings into a Marcus Garvey drawing contest for Black History Month. I recieved a plaque & honorable luncheon with my teacher for a environmental awareness painting, which was shocking being that I don't favor my painting skills. I also had a painting  displayed at the Festival At The Lake which was an annual summer event in Oakland. I've had 1 semester of experience at California College Of Arts & Crafts (CCAC) which brought upon my love for different mediums, figure drawing, learning methods of breaking monotony & multiple approaches to a subject.
