How Pangaeaa Works

• Pangaeaa provides a place for you (the artist) to showcase your various arts for free!

• No monthly fees or sign up cost.

• A very low 10% commission is charged only when an item is sold. (A $0.30 transaction fee applies to all sales.)

• Unlike other social communities, Pangaeaa’s focus is geared towards serious artist that would like a professional place to showcase their talent.

• Pangaeaa was built so that every artist on the site gets maximum exposure without the need for searching.

• Upon uploading and approval of your profile, you will have a unique artist page of your own. You may upload a custom banner (masthead) for your page to express you individuality.

• By choosing to be featured on the home page, you will be placed in a queue with other artist. Once your profile reaches the top of the queue, your profile will be displayed randomly with two other artists for 24 hours.

• As new artists sign up, they are randomly displayed at the bottom of the home page in the scroll bar, 24 at a time...from all genres.

• Within each genre of art, there is another scroll bar that only displays the newest artists in that specific genre. (24 at a time)

• Music and Literature are uploaded and downloaded as mp3s and PDFs (eBooks).

• Artists are responsible for the shipment of all none digital art to the buyer.

• For all non digital art. When a sale is made, Pangaeaa.com processes the customer's payment and holds it until after the artwork has been delivered to the customer and he or she has had the opportunity to see the work in person. Artwork may be returned for a refund for up to seven days after the order has been delivered. After the return period expires the order moves to a payment queue and when the payment is processed Pangaeaa.com takes the 10% from the price of the piece and sends payment to you through PayPal.com. Payments are currently processed on the first of the month. Payment queue must be at least 25 dollars in order to process payments to your PayPal account. (A $0.30 transaction fee applies to all sales.)

• For all digital art. When a sale is made, Pangaeaa.com processes the customer's payment. The order moves to the payment queue for processing and Pangaeaa.com takes the 10% from the price of the product sold and sends payment to you through PayPal.com.
