And so goes the blossoming, entertaining, wide-ranging career of Akron Watson. Since an infant, he has graced countless stages, cameras, and studios with his unique blend of ablities: acting, singing, song-writing, poetry, and comedic flair. His Dallas roots have raised him to be southern in style and swagger, but his universal appeal in song-writing and live perfomances is what has made him a stand-out entertainer, even to the likes of American Idol.

 

 Simon Cowell stated, "Yes. That was wonderful.", in front of 500 million people on season 6 of AI. Paula Abdul agreed, and Akron received his "Golden Ticket."

Following his American Idol "experience" (www.myspace.com/bringakback), Akron was greeted with open arms from his Dallas musician community. As the number of local artists willing to work with him began to rise, so did the opportunity for live performances and musicals. Now a seasoned entertainer, Akron's soon to be released solo LP: "The Way of the World", is well underway.
